Arenal Hanging Bridges are located 20 - 30 minutes away from La Fortuna Town. This amazing environment offers an incomparable adventure in the middle of a dynamic Neotropical Forest. This approximately 2 ½ -hour walk along the path will lead you toward six different suspended bridges, which are distributed along a 2-mile long trail immersing you into a multisensorial experience, by enjoying such lush vegetation and wildlife interaction from a unique perspective, thanks to the breathtaking views from every suspension bridge, besides the immensityfeeling, created by trees along the trail..
Tropical Rainforest is considered one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet whose flora and fauna are vastly distributed through the understory, tree trunks, and top forest layer. Costa Rica is known to be home to 4 - 5% of the biodiversity of the world.
Nature experts Guides will bring along, professional spotting equipment to offer the best chances to observe and photograph the different wildlife species that may be found through this delightful environment.

After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive at the entrance to the Arenal volcano lava fields trail.
Throughout this activity, in company with our local expert, who will show and explain to you the geological evolution of Costa Rica and its most important Volcanic and Tectonic Plate attributes.
This trail combines basaltic andesite lava rock fields and patches of regenerating forest, where you may find animals that have been recolonizing these specific ecosystems. The distance of the hike will be according to the group's preferences, as a consequence of It ranges from 1, 5, up to 4 miles long hiking distance.
Arenal Volcano is geologically our youngest summit, approximately 7000 years old according to geologists' carbon dating test studies. Within this period Arenal has alternated different active and calm periods.
On July 29th, 1968 after approximately 400 years of calmness, locals suffered one of the most devastating volcanic eruptions ever seen before, which generated casualties, death, and economic disasters. Minor eruptions took place until 2010 becoming little by little La Fortuna village one of the most attractive destinations in Costa Rica.
Tasty Costa Rican lunch will be served 15 minutes drive away near La Fortuna Town. It will be the perfect occasion to get a splash at La Fortuna Waterfall. 15 minutes downstairs will be required to have the opportunity to swim, photograph, and relax at the bottom of this 213-foot river drop.
